EDGE Jamboree 2010: Accommodation, Location and Directions

All participants will be staying at the Mespil Hotel, which is located near UCD. (Please note that an earlier version of this page specified the hotel as the Montrose Hotel. This has been changed as the hotel has been closed).

The easiest way to get from Dublin airport to the hotel is to take a taxi. There is also a coach service to the hotel. The Aircoach can be picked up right outside the arrivals terminal at the airport. It departs every 20 minutes. It is a sky blue coach – you can’t miss it. But make sure you get the correct one as the company operates several routes. Please verify with the driver that he is going to the Mespil hotel (the Leopardstown route).

The seminars will be held in the School of Economics Seminar Room (G214) UCD. You can find a map of the campus here. The School of Economics is located in the Newman Building at position 36 on the map. A bus will take participants to the seminar location from the hotel. As the first session starts on Saturday at 9:30am, I will meet participants in the lobby of the hotel at 9:00am. Late arrivals will have to walk!
